I have a Garmin Etrex Summit. It runs on AA batteries, or can be used with the in car cable. It will measure ground speed, plus elevation data, including rates of ascent and descent (it maps this data as well). You can set all the way points, and create a waypoint. Also includes a compass. It was ...

Just get a new boot from Repco, I think they are like $15 or something. They are not much anyway.

Have a go at replacing it yourself. You can do it without removing the shaft from the hub as well.

I have the manual, and no the diagram pretty well. The lights are through their own circuit with relay and fuse. The headlights are on a seperate circuit and they are ok. The interior lights, parkers and tail lights come on together. The fuse is fine, the wires around the fuse box are ok, and I ...

Is it an Earth Leakage

I only have headlights, brake lights (not normal tail) and reverse lights at the moment. I have checked for power after the fuse, and all is ok there. I have no interior lights, no tail lights, no parkers. Where else should I check for the problem. The fuse and relay are both ok. The car is a LN61 ...

Could be a dud wheel cylinder.

I would say just strip the whole lot down, clean it real good, lube it all, and put it back together, see how that goes.

Don't go too nuts with the lube though, it might dribble over you shoes, but at least you wouldn't have the wheel lock-up problem!!

I had a similar problem with my 4runner.

Turned out to actually be the sterering dampner. It was buggered, and water was getting past the internal seal. Steering was really hard, or would not steer, or would pulsate for a little while until the water drained/forced itself out.

Land Rover History

I was wondering what series a landrover would be if it was built in 1954? (If they where even being built back then)

Also, does anyone know if there are accessories available, like lockers etc?

Thanks,

Some of the crawler type gears will also lower your high range gearing.

This is for the best anyway of you are running bigger rubber..
