I had bfg muds and they had side wall splits after the first big trip,Now I have fc-11's on and so far so good, quiet and steer well.

I was stuck on the way to Cape york and a ford dealer put the coil on a tester which gave it a workout and it died as he stressed it.

Mine would run for a while then die and if you left it for ten mins it would start again.Turned out to be the coil breaking down under heat and load.

I have the rb30 diffs behind a 4.2 diesel, I just unbolted the the pinions fron the three ltr and bolted the 4.2 ones on. I have to run 44's to bring the gearing back to standard.

He has ew master and slave and has good clutch feel but clutch will not disingauge. He has been told they will do this when they loose rivits ect. But the clutch was starting to shudder before it stoped working? High k's so should take a look.

Clutch on a 110

My friend resides on the dark side with you guys and drives a 110. He has lost his clutch and is comeing over on friday night to use my shed and tools to change it. Any tips you could give me to help ease the pain would be great.

I put the Dakin Safari HD clutch.In with turbo and intercooler and its doing fine(trip to the cape trailer up Fraser)if you want to ride the clutch put an auto in.

Its an awsome bit of gear and I am building it into a camp trailer.I want to swap the hubs for a set of nisasan ones. the hubs on it have the large centers with the grease nipples on. My question is will they fit any other truck ...

Buy the ARB switch loom ect, can get all the bits seperately and u wont need to do it again when you get lockers.Works out cheap.

WAS parked in the Mitchel river when the controler for the central locking got wet.All four locks operated untill they melted and locked the doors.This made it hard to let the water out .So now I have an isolation switch I use if it loks like I may want to stop in deap water for a rest. Cheers ...

You can fold them in with a big screw driver and a hammer and then bash them out (see rough ) last time I pressed mine in I froze them over night and it made the job easyer.

Mate I rang APS when I found oil in mine an they said it was normal as the extra plumbing gave the vapuor time to condense and the intercooler made the problem seem worse, they said the oil may weap from the compressed air side of the turbo . These are the people who make my turbo and I dont use oil ...

I have found that when the seast cover is 3.5 inches up the side of the seat it means my butt cheeks are that tightly clecnch there is a good chance I ame going over. (this may varey depending on the amount of beer consumed)

I used to use a solid copper head gasket on my z9, There was a special compuond I had to use to stop it weaping, I cant remember the name of it .But the boys who drag race cars put me onto it ,might be worth a call.

I've just pullled the rb30 out of mine and put a turbo intercooled diesel in .But I'm sure it used to sit close to 3 grand in fifth running 31 tyres.It was a good engine made an awsome sound bounceing off the rev limiter ,but the diesel would put a horn on a jellyfish. Good luck with the turbo ...
