i think a bit over 2 grand. price was not really of great concern, better to fork out the cash than roll it and end up in a wheel chair

33x9.5x15 Mud Tyre Does anyone still make them?

After a 33x9.5x15 mud tyre to use as a space-saver in the back of the zook (will take up less space then a 33x12.5). I realise that I can get a simex 32x9.5x15, but did not really want a directional tyre as a spare.

Has anyone got any ideas?

are you going to run a new wiring loom? i am eventually going to do the same with an e45 s/c and was thinking about a megasquirt ECU which is stacks cheaper.

HID light colour temperature (K). what do people use?

What colour does everyone tend to use in their HID lights or HID conversions? I realise you can buy nearly any colour temp. (K). I think most people are using 6000K, but is this the case?

anyone actually had "real-life" experiences with overheating and breaking synthetic winch rope in winches (low mount) with a drum brake? I am just talking about normal recovery situations and not winch challenges. i understand the theory, but just want to know does it actually happen? ie. steel rope ...

i beleive that the ox winch is the "old" t-max/brawn etc. spoke to the guy at t-max and the newer designed t-max winches have a better braking system and are designed to be used with synthetic rope. i am going to buy a 6500 t-max when i get the cash.

bump stop mounting question

any reason why the rubber/urethane bumpstops can not be mounted directly to the top of the leaf pack in a sprung over vehicle? just looks like it would be easier to make up a plate to mount to the u-bolts which extend above the pack.
