Need the measurement from the front bumper to the rear of the back tyres.

Late 47,60,75 x are all the same pto gearbox, your 47x should have the,pto gear inside the transfer.
Find out what model 70x it Is from, a factory turbo 70x will not fit but a non turbo 70 x will ( meaning 79x )

79x with a 1hz will have diff ratios of 4:3 79x with a 1hdgte will have 4:1 75x, 6ox, 47x ect all have 4:1 70x v8 have a ratio of 3:9 I have been through this discussion on lcool a while ago and also when I sold a centre to a fella with a 79 x fte. Being a 1 hz the ratios should be 4:3 , the factory turbo is 4:11

when you move the lever on the winch to the left looking at it it will engage the winch. now with the lever in the cab engage this, put into gear then jump under car and see whats happening. if the pto is turning, the winch shaft will be turning, if no turn at the winch itself u have a broken shear ...

white smoke is usually excessive fuel, look at injectors/pump.
what have u done recently any servicing to eliminate air/fuel ilters ???

but the 75x i have with extractorsa comes out over the chassis then runs paralell with the chassis

would u not have dramas with the 5 speed to the h motor as gearbox mounts are different, h 4 speed is mounted on the side of bellhousing and 2h box has a x member under the middle of the box you would be better off geting a rusty hj47 with a good 2h and swapping it all over any early 5 speed will ...

i was assuming the 12ht and 2h were the same set up and forgot about 12ht being direct inj ect ect

i gather ur hj61 has a 12ht ?

if so u need to disconnect the cut off arm that is atached to the edic control, this will enable fuel to go to the pump

the get power to the starter

we have done this before on a 2h so the 12ht should be very similar

done the conversion twice first with a 1hdt 2nd with a 1hdft the change of flywheel cause dif size to a h55 from a factory turbo 12inch to a 11 inch from memory somebody will correct me, if not keep the 1hd flywheel ang use a 1fz clutch plate and 1hd pressure plate the ratios will bolt straight in ...

if fsctory 1hz troopy would have h55 box
1hdt bolt straight in, use 1hz flywheel, will have to lengthen vacum hose and a few other little bit, change exhaust pipe, other wise straight in

ute cab will fit but have to mod the tray mounts

oil releif valve on driver side down the bottom thonkin a 17mm nut ??
just pull out the spribng and replace

instead of rebuilding the 2h get a 1hz and swap over relative easy and straight forward swap should get out of it for under $4000

all 40x panels are interchangable, only major difference is the front apron with the headlights, will still bolt up though

the tubs are different with the early models have tank under the seat, later models have tank under the floor pan

i thought it would bolt up all the same, with the speedo is it like the l/cruisr and the elect snesor just bolts in, wurse case swap over the speedo head i spose, any other thing to look for

will a ln106 4x4 hilux gearbox and t/case from a 2.8 deisel fir into a 2.8 deisel dual cab 1990 model, sombody has told me no it will not fit, i can not see why not

lastly if this motor in time needs replacing what would be a good engine swap
