All, My dad has a 2010 Prado Deisel (new shape). He's getting a computer issue were 3 warning lights come on, he says no other issues are obvious. Toyota are saying "need to replace a blocked SGR valve that is triggering warning lights". Google search shows no such thing as a SGR valve. Lights ...

Re: GU ARB Rear Bar and LRA Tank dont fit

Gotta say ARB really went overboard with the engineering. How's this !!! Standard tow bar mounts with 3 chassis bolts each rail, two small bolts up under cross members (Total 8 bolts) ARB has, get ready for this :) 3 chassis bolts each rail, two small bolts up under cross members (As stock towbar, 8 ...

Re: GU ARB Rear Bar and LRA Tank dont fit

As suggested by Bordertek on Patrol4x4 I put a nice curve in those corners to prevent cracking, bar slid straight on now it was trimmed. only held on by the 4 bumper bolts, will bolt in properly later on with 10 more bolts. Then the side support braces and finally lights. http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn ...

Re: Body Lift NSW

I've already decided in my case to remove it and chop guards. Just dont want my truck going through engineering, so easier this way and without the cost. Who knows it may go back in th future (legally) but I'm a lazy bastard so probally all to hard.

Yep tried searching but links were bad in bible, other threads not sure ? I just called my mechanic and asked if BL was legal (for my stock height G60 Patrol) an dhe thinks yes based on headlight height. Looking on RTA only found this http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/downloads/vsccs_exempt ...

Re: Help Flipping tailshaft

Just went back out and tried hammering the flange bolts (with nut on) and no budge.

So if I leave the bolts inplace and try tapping all around I might be able to get the flanges to seperate ?

Help Flipping tailshaft

Hey All, Just went out to flip the rear tailshaft (TB48 Auto) However the gearbox end will not come off the transfer. Tried gently tapping with a 4LB mallet but no go ? Re: TB48 and Long Range Tanks

Ok i had had the ZD30 for 5 years and loved it, but I tow a 2.5t boat and was just getting sick of doing 60k per hour up hills. In the ZD30 I would get 18/19 towing and best towing was 15.5 at ¼ throttle all the way to Brisbane, If I really flogged it at 110km all the way fuel would be 20-21lph. I ...

Re: TB48 and Long Range Tanks

A mate fitted 2 LRA tanks to his GU4 4.8. I know he was looking at plumbing it so both tanks pumped directly to the front of the car, but in the end did the transfer to main tank set up as he couldnt get it to work any other way. Maybe it was a fuel control/ECU issue that stopped this from working ...

Re: TB48 and Long Range Tanks

Been doing alot of research and I can get LRA, Long Ranger and Brown Davis to replace teh rear stock 95L with a 147L. Reading up the sub tank was removed in around 2006 due to emissions. So for the front apparently Long Ranger have done one for the TB48 but nothing on their website. I called LRA ...
