sorry about not clearly explaining my problem, as jon said a complete engine swap, 1300 to 1600 carby, 1600 carby.
i replaced the cam belt, i originally thought it was timing as every gear as flat spots, its like it doesnt wanna rev past 3,000 - 4,000.
could it be on 3 cylinders?

1600 carby conversion performance trouble
hi, i have a suzuki sierra took out my 1300 and put the 1600 in, its in and wokring, i have had it in for a few months but the 1600 carby is alot slower then my 1300, it is slow and wont even go 90 kms. is it as simple as getting it tuned, or maybe the engine is a dud? i put a 1600 for more power ...

ye 6mm. i have just had enough of this bullshit, i dont understand how this is such an on going problem, i have grinded off so much of the strater motor theres no way its on an angle. so i no for a fact that the starter is lined up straight when bolted up. and i no the starter motor i have works and ...

this post has been answerd in the past, well good. you should all know what to tell me then i told the bloke who made it, he said the plate is perfect. the plate is designed and made for these engine conversions so i dont understand why a plate that is made for such a thing prevents your starter ...

Please help i put a 1600 into my sierra using an adapter plate, that adapter plate is 16 mm thick. my starter motor will not through out all the way as it isnt long enough to clear the adapter plate, which is then only hitting the flywheel just and so it makes a horrible noise and is wearing down ...

i have put a 1600 into my sierra, engine runs perfect but i have an issue with the starte motor. i used an adapter plate, bolted the 1.3 starter in ( i grinded off some of the starter to fit....) bolts up fine... started the car up and it makes an awfull crunch sound, like the gears are meshing... i ...

sierra 1600 conversion.. 1300 starter, grinded abit off the side where it rubs on block, put it in, 3 days later it started making noises starting.. soon enough it didnt start, took it out, grindinded more off put it back in same problem... starter must be stuffed... do i buy a vitara starter... or ...

hello, my 1.3 blew up, bought a 1.6 8 valve. the 1.6 i bought was pretty much a block and inlet manifold, so there was alot of fucking around to get the new engine preped... its all in now just put the 1.6 dizzy on last night... my problem is... there is no spark, i have hooked everything up correct ...

Gday, i have rollded my zook, light roll as well, i had a soft top, so i only really damaged the gaurds... i say ditch the roof... make ya zook a little ute.. soft tops cost about $400 and a bikini trops are about $250.... i got mine from sydney... and is your roof worth binning... mate its worth ...
