i had this problem, it went away when i replaced al;l the rear bushes.
im pretty sure its somthin to do with the uppers as a mate had same probly n only replaced uppers, in saying that lowers could do the same

2 shims will lock it up good n proper. a mate of mine cut the lid of a milo tin and it still acted like a lsd just a bit harsh.
i fitted a complete extra clutch (1 clutch plate from a old lsd pack) and it dosnt unlock. shit onroad good offroad tho.

wow i thourght removing a grub and fitting th oil line wuda been heaps easier then .in about with tapping into the back of the vac pump....

i had mine built at the deisel mob behind mobil in nambour josh, went from standard pump to a very capable pump. for 2400 with new injectors. ask andrew holford to hit em up for you. oh and has he given you back the lowmnt airbox yet? we ended up goin diferent route with his airbox.

i just put a 98 ute shell on my 89chassie. was bolt on only had to cut the front shock towers into the inner gaurd. also had to use the 89 steering shaft.

when mine was doint his it was because of loose line fiting between the pump and the t-peice to the to the gauge now every conection has a zippy tie n not more lose of boost.

i went for 4.1's to 4.6's is wasome offroad and revs around 2200(giv or take a smidg) at 100.

i an extra lsd disk to the rear of mine and it locked it up. hasnt let got in 6mnths just tears shreds out of the tires and makes tight turns a peta n. cant wait to go air locker.

twin piston calipers will bolt on but remember to get the backin plate with them other wise you have to hack into you old plate, no biggy but just takes time. you will also need a set of twin piston rotors. as mentions efi from 94? i just had my pump built, and when we re-installed it i cud winde the boost adjuster right out and it quite freely goes over 25psi so i set it at 20. egts get to 500 quite easly but back off and they drop away just as quick. on a hiflo denco kit with water to air and $$$$ pump

there are heaps of options for both front and rear. front u can get bolt in kits with some angle gringing and/or drilling, front can got x-link, 5 link or flex arms with longer shocks. rear end you can get drop out cones and bump stops or a-frame with long shocks. costs vary from minimal to ...

gq 4.2t 1st tank without fuel adjust ment was 350-95ltr (heavy right foot)

2nd with fuel adjustment tank was 300klm - aprox 80ltrs -same driving style

3rd tank eased of on the driving style n got 500k's witch is were is was befor turbo

mate the grub screw you are wantin to use as a drain on the exhaust side, can-not be used as a drain as that is the usual oil feed point. so ur better of taking you oil feed from there and tapin a hole ine the sump for your drain. or if your after a dodgy but still works theme, you can use a 'T ...

have been advised to keep egts at a max of 550 post turbo, by the tuner i've been speekin too.

i run drop out cones with 80series bump stop, and retain the bottom of the coil with a peice of 5mm steel with a bolt through the centre..

take to an exhaust shot an ask em to drill a hole n weld on a nut tot he dump pipe, so u can screw the egt sencor in

that "drain plug" could also be used for plumbin in the rocker cover vent.
