Re: Ifs hilux wheel alignment issues

Cheers for the feedback, I've got ironman nitro gas shocks under it, need a new steer damper and will get under and lock everything tight.

Ifs hilux wheel alignment issues

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has a solution to my hilux wheel alignment issue. Each time I go 4wding, I generally come out of it with some serious wheel alignment issues. I have twice had to rep,ace tyres due to scrubbing or overheating (a week or so after a 4wd trip) I don't really want to ...

NO! for $300 you can buy a set of iron man 2"lift leaf springs. $260 to reset your stock springs is rediculous, i can get it done for $150 at my local tyre power shop so old mate is ripping you off...
resetting your stock springs will work but they will slowly sag.

kiwibacon, you really seem to be the leader of the snorkel kkk! i guess if it makes people happy and satisfied that they have gained power (whether its true or in their head) then its money well spent. and power on paper is never the same as in real life, there are always variables. I have seen ...

as far as the 2.7 petrol, it will cost you a fortune in fuel compared to the diesel and they also have a lot worse resale value. turbo diesel best by far, but the diesel is still an excelent vehicle. i personally have a 3l non turbo sr5, i cant see any negatives related to the sr5, auto engaging ...

as well as different a/r housings (both compressor and exhaust) you can also get different trim wheels, so one turbocharger can have anywhere up to 4 different variants, maybe more, and they all perform differently. have a look on the garret website they have flow maps for their whole range of turbo ...

just wondering if there is any power gain possible from a reusable filter
such as a k&n.
i have never heard of people fitting them to 4x4's, but in a normal car
even a pannel replacement filter can give a good gain, am i wasting my time buying one for my lux?

egr will basically just pump raw exhaust gasses back into your intake in an effort to reburn and reduce harmful biproducts.
by blocking it or having it blocked, you will only be gettting fresh intake air in, but the power difference from experience will be not noticable.
