Gday guys I have a GQ with broken vaccuum diff lock, and was thinking of replacing it with an LSD. I have been told that one of the axles is shorter with the diff lock can I still use it with the LSD or do I need to get a longer axle?

A good place to try would be lilydale brakes, very helpfull and seemed to know there stuff when i was looking for a clutch.

How does a panhard that is to short effect the handling of a patrol. how do you know when you need a longer panhard rod?

The best way i have found to get the wire through is to put a air nozzel on one end of the flares and feed wire through from other end. Works a treat.

are you sure it is a removable tongue.

check that the front shackles are tight.

try going to www.hafele.com.au they are a cabinet maker suplier, look up Full extention medium to heavey duty draw runners. local cabinet maker should be able to order them for you. hope this helps

My old MQ had a high lift bolted above the rear wheel arch on the right hand side.

also rember that the snatch block is designed to have the wire rope through it.

I have got a set of 33" Xterrains on my MQ, very happy with their on and off road performance would'nt think twice about getting another set except to get 35".

What is the eaisiest way to mount the fittings to the bottle? 1: try and find a mainfold that will screw in to the top off the bottle where the hose of the gauge is or 2: drill and tap a hole in it and go from there, any help much appreciated.

A press or an oxy will be needed to get the bearing off. Fairly easy job tho
