I run 4.3's because when i go wheeling on the serious stuff i run 35's and they are perfect for it. However i run 33's as my dailys and the gears are too short, engine revs too much and its a pain in the ass. For touring and 33's you want 4.1's.

I think you might find that the 4.0L engine is a lot more efficient than a TB42 when it comes to flow in the intake and port side of things so maybe thats why they spool up quicker?? Also be persistent and do as much research yourself as you can, if you start being a knob because ppl aren't replying ...

I had a GU TB45 come into work the other day and that had 3.5's in it (had HG35 on the compliance plate) so i would suggest looking for GU centres instead. I dont think GQ's ever came out with a 3.5 ratio to be honest....

Wont fit, The "bell end" on either end of the diff housing is larger on a GU than on a GQ to accomodate the larger diameter GU CV Joints. If it was as easy as swapping GU cv's and axles into GQ housing ppl wouldnt bother fitting GU diffs to there GQ's like myself haha

What you are experiencing is usually caused by low gas pressure. Usually Either it has a faulty gauge and you are almost out of gas or your gas filter is blocked. The gas filter is loacated underneath the gas lock off in your engine bay, its a seperate lock off solenoid usually not far from the ...

Also make sure you mark the nut to the pinion thread and the flange plate so you can do it all up to the same spot you undid it from. When you undo it count how many turns you undo it so it can be done up the same amount of turns and tightened to the same point it was before, if not a fanny hair ...

GQ manual locking hubs do bolt up to the gu diffs, however you need to swap over a washer and the drive gear off the gq diff into the gu one before you swap hubs over.
