i have a 82 2h 60 series and got a spare 84 petrol as spares,the petrol 5 speed/transfer bolted straight onto the 2h bellhousing but i also needed the 5 speed tailshaft.

thanks for the advise,yes i have seen alot of 60 series wagons rust in the roof,mine had none and when it was rust proffed i made sure the hoodling came out and holes were drilled from the inside into the roof section and it was drowned with rust proff in there :)

thanks so im guessing it makes sence to keep the front diff i have in my spare 60 incase i need to replace ther rear diff one day.would it be good to asume the front diff wouldnt get much work so they would make a good conversion if the rear diff ever wore out?

im pretty new to them also but my car blew the "engine" fuse and didnt charge at all and the car wouldnt start.i put a new fuse in "engine" and it has been as ggod as gold since.dunno what it means but thats what happened to me.
