Ladder bar complete

Hi Guys,

thought some people may be interest to see how I did my ladder bar, its almost identicle to what superior engineering sells. If you don't have the skills or patients I recommend buying a premade one of Mick. The hiem joint ends cost me $50 each and the steel (32NB) was $60 for 6.5m of ...

12v vs 24v winch speeds

which is faster, running a 12v winch or 24V in the same class of winch? the Warn web site says the 12V pulls at 38ft/min while the 24V pulls at 27ft/min in the xd9000i. When looking at the T-max web site the 12v pulls at 29ft/min while the 24v pulls at 41.7ft/min in the EW-9500 class.

yer that makes sense, that rings a bell now you mention it.

Anyone know if you can fit those adjustable brake bias valves in place of these, bigballsoffroad sell them $130. It is currently is my rear wheels that always lock up first anyway. I don't think the current bias is adjustable.

Brake advance on LWB MQ and some shorty MK's

I have this cylinder on the chassis near the handbrake drum on my shorty MK which runs to the rear brake drums. I was wondering what it does? and if it's necessary? why don't the shorty MQ's have them?

(Screwy I started a new thread so I wouldn't bugger yours up)

water in diesel fuel

probably a stupid question but what would a small amount of water actually do to a diesel motor if it enters via the fuel supply? I can't imagine injectors or pump being overly happy, however would it really stuff them? I doubt you'd get compresson lock up from water in the fuel.

I heard ...

Supercharged SD33

Hi Guys,

anyone ever considered supercharging a SD33? There was a cheapish supercharger on ebay recently to suit a 6cylinder diesel motor. It claimed to put out 5psia. My thoughts where that the SD33T only runs around 7-8psia (i think, correct me if i'm wrong) boost when the turbo fully spins up ...

you'll need some flare rubber so as to not attract attention to yourself. 2" body and 2" springs will come close to fitting them i recon. you may need to trim the guards. You could look into extended shackles also, 2" extended will give you another approx. 1" lift. Make sure if you chop guards you ...

as i'm running broken back setup, wouldn't it have to wrap to the point where the diff was pointing down and out of the uni's range? which means a massive deflection, which i would have thought would have bent the springs?
