i picked some up 2 weeks ago for my winch... 28m on my highmount... only cause i dint know it came in other lenghts! which im pretty annoyed about now, as i would of liked to have a bit more... but ohwell... there was a guy on ebay selling them.. same as the flexy flares, but diffrent mount... cant rember who it was tho sorry... might be worth a look... it was one of the 4wd shop's on there...

when i bought my mk it had an L24 in it... never drove with that motor tho because it had a bad clunk when i was looking at it... but it was definatly stamped L24....

under that cover is part of your wiring loom....

they have a front sway bar... mounts up behind the shock... just unblot the top bolt, and then the bits on the front off the diff.. and pull it out...

or someone might have taken it off before you...

are the ratios written on the diff somewhere, (iv pulled the center out but cant see it.. is it on there?) or is there a way to work out what they are? (withoug knowing what sort of rig they came from...?

replaced the headlight combo switch... all good now...

yeh they all run threw realays... 2 for each realy...

happens with the spotties off, and on... its the back of the combo switch that gets hot, (the contacts on there) i have cleaned it all.. but havnt pulled it off... which i will do 2morrow.... i guess... maby just put my other one off and see if it does it...

i ran a bumper like that for a while (a peice of c channel covering the chassis rails) didnt have a problem... but that was just driving aroung... not sure about legalities.

while on the subject of transfers... when i put mine into 4wd, hi or lo... i ge a clunking sound, as if iv lost a tooth or something in there... havnt had a chance to drain oil as yet, as im wating on my new bank card.

APART FROM WHAT I NEED...

as far as i know they are the roiginal belts... they are the same from my 83 mk to 83 mq...

spoke to nissan and they said there are 7 diffrent belts for the mq/mk's... so have to give them my vin and they will work it out...

they dont fit... thats what im saying... my ones mount on the inside of the pillar... the new ones mount on the outside... and diffrently... my digi cam is broken at the moment so i cant get pics...

closed pollystyrene containers keep it for a while aswlll.. we often buy a block and a few scoops of it. last tiem i left it in the tub there was still some left 3 day later... which was left in my tin shed... (aparently its not good for plastic eskys as it freezes the plastic and can make it shater...

why doesnt he just 2" suspension and 2" body lift it, maby some extended shackles, and drive that around for a bit?
