i bought one of cheezy's snatch straps a while ago for $50, i have taken this thing to hell and back, ive broken a TJM OX snatch and ironman doing tamer recoverys, so pm cheezy and se if he has anymore highly recomended cos im keen to get another one soon

when you changed the FWH, did you change the drive clutch that it locks onto aswell, cos after time they round off and with enough pressure they unlock with alot of noise mine was doing aswell until i changed them both.

hey mate the tanks are mounted to the chassis so body lift wont help it, ive bashed mine a few times and got some nice dents in the bottom but that was doing some really stupid stuff, so for general 4bing you'll be safe, the first thing to go with the stock tanks are the spot welds around the edge ...

the are different when looking straight at the stub axle it has a flat side towards the back of the car where the brake caliper mount on the swivel. it isnt vertical to how it mounts either its slightly higher and diagnal.

get the gregorys manual and do it yourself,

wheel bearings are around $70 a side from repco a tube of greese from supercheap and the only real specialty tool you need is a hub socket and punches. for first timers expect an hour a side.

there manual locking hubs, and the passenger wheel is locked in drive while the oppostie side is free. i just took off the free wheeling hub and it looks alright it pops up when i turn it to lock and goes back down on its own when turned back to free. any help guys? its still making the shaving ...

is there a setup to push the button once and it plays through?

yeah it sorta sounds like some air or some really light metal scrapping,
it was just normal driving around, ill be checking everything in the morn, but if it was the exhaust somewhere wouldnt it make the same noise in 1st and 2nd when giving it a bit?
