Thats what I thought, the only down fall to the cole hursee is that it just seperates the two batteries when the ignition is off and then links them when it is on. If you have a flat starting battery you won't know until the accessory battery goes flat as well, then your buggered. ARB had some turbo ...

Dual batteries and turbo timer
Couple of questions. I am installing a dual batery set up my GUIV 4.2TDi. As it has very limited electronic components is it entirely necessary to use a smart solenoid or the like? or can I get away with just a normal isolating solenoid (cole hursee). I went to ARB today and their battery trays are ...

I sold my 91 T/D not long ago for about 17K with 228 on the clock it had some goodies on it but only alloy bar and no rear bar. Sounds like a pretty good price. You will be impressed by the power (once you get it moving) and the low range off road down hills is awesome. I used to get nearly 1000klms ...

Has anyone rebuilt one of these and how the f#@k do you get the worm shaft ball bearings back in. They support the screwed shaft in the piston assy. The book says not to remove the wormshaft (thats probably why  ) but I had to replace the seal in the valve body so there must be a way of ...
